Our goal is to provide you with a solution that's always available when you need it.  In order to meet this goal, we take several steps to ensure the availability of our service and the integrity of your data:

• Co-location - Our servers are hosted at Internap's hosting center in the Fisher building in Seattle, WA.  Located near the famous Seattle Space Needle, this facility provides state-of-the-art server co-location services.  Power and environmental control are fully backed up.  The building is fed by multiple ISPs through separate physical entrances.  The routers that service our equipment are fully redundant.  All cabinets are locked, and the facility is staffed 24 hours per day, seven days per week by security personnel.  There are full fire detection and suppression systems for each web server cage.  The cabinets and building are seismically braced.
  
• Web Servers - Each of our web servers runs with RAID Level 1 disk arrays for ultra-reliable data storage.  In addition, each server has a redundant backup server with a secure copy of the data that is replicated from the primary server every two minutes.  As a backup to our backups, a tertiary server is kept in a secure off site location and that server is also synchronized with the primary server every two minutes.  Fail over to the backup server can be performed in under five minutes, while fail over to the third tier server takes approximately 15 minutes.
  
• Monitoring - Our web servers are monitored in one minute increments and our data center staff is notified via pager within two minutes of a failure.  We verify daily that our databases are fully synchronized with each other, and full backups of the database along with the last two days of database log files are stored in a secure off-site storage facility each day.  We also perform a logical database scan to ensure that our data is internally consistent.
  
• Program Failures - In the event of a failure of the software due to a program bug, a message is automatically sent by the system to our development team.  This team reviews the message within four hours and takes whatever action is necessary to fix it, usually within 24 hours.
  
• Experience - Our team of dedicated professionals has years of experience in the design and deployment of web sites handling billions of hits of traffic each year.  In order to ensure a reliable system, we designed the system from the ground up to reliably handle large volumes of traffic in a secure manner rather than as an afterthought.  We take our mission very seriously.
