Scheduling
Complete control over how the computer generates your schedule
Many employers give scheduling preference to their most senior employees. With the TimeSolver system, you can make sure that seniority is considered when allocating shifts.
Most of the time you don't want to have your employees working back-to-back shifts, so our scheduling software makes sure that once an employee is assigned to a shift that a minimum amount of time will pass before putting them on another. You can control this "minimum time span" setting, putting it anywhere between 0 and 24 hours. With this setting you can easily control how often your employees work and make sure that they get enough rest between shifts.
Sometimes you want your employees to work overtime, other times you don't. Simply set the maximum number of overtime hours to allow, and the system will automatically assign overtime hours
only if needed to fill an open assignment. With our advanced
Individual Employee Overtime setting, you can control the number of overtime hours assigned to each employee.
Not everyone starts their work week on Sunday, so we give you control over the day of week that your work week starts. This is important to make sure that you're calculating overtime hours correctly.
If you offer your employees a scheduled lunch break, you have to account for this time when calculating a shift schedule. Our system allows you to specify the amount of break time to allow when scheduling a shift.
